The MicroLaserPeel is the latest in skin rejuvenation.  Our system utilizes a short-pulsed Erbium laser to ablate the outer layers of the skin at precise depths. This treatment delivers excellent results for poor skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, sun-damage, etc. One MicroLaserPeel is the equivalent of 4-10 microdermabrasion treatments with the added benefits of long-term collagen remodeling and immediate visible result. Depending on how your peel is customized to your individual skin, we may recommend anywhere from 1-5 treatments.

What are the after-effects of the procedure? 

 

Depending on skin type, some patients may experience some redness and light flaking for a few days after the procedure. 

 

 

 

 Is there any discomfort? 

 

 

 

You will have topical anesthetic placed on the skin prior to the procedure and the treatment has little sensation.  Afterward, you may experience a mild sunburn-type discomfort that is easily controlled with Tylenol or ibuprofen. 

 

 

 

 

Is there any post-procedure care? 

 

 

 

 

Our medical staff will recommend the preferred skin care products to aid and maintain results. 

 

 

 

How many Micro Laser Peels are needed? 

 

 

 

We usually perform a series of three peels (depending on desired depth), but results may be seen with one procedure.  We may recommend additional peels if necessary.
